Travel restrictions for FIFA club world cup

On Monday, 18 January, a decision was made for residents with valid Qatar IDs, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens and those with exceptional entry permits (EEPs) to enter the country, subject to the State of Qatar visa and entry protocols. The attendance of international fans from abroad is currently not possible due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

International ticket applicants are advised to check on Qatar’s current visa and entry requirements and COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Please be aware that quarantine rules apply to all those entering Qatar. Quarantine periods differ depending on the country of origin and may be between 7-14 days. Please refer to the Ministry of Public Health website for more information.

Fans are divided into 3 groups, according to Vaccination and COVID-19:

  • Group A: Fans who've received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.

Collect your ticket from the ticketing centre at the Qatar National Convention Centre anytime from 10 AM to 11 PM, up to 72 hours before the match. Take your QID, proof of your vaccination and payment receipt or email. The centre is open every day from 29 January to 11 February (closing at 7 PM on 11 February).

  • Group B: Fans who contracted COVID-19 after 1 October 2020

Take your QID, payment receipt or email, and the text message you received from the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) informing you about your COVID-19 test result and eligibility to buy a match ticket. The centre is open every day from 29 January to 11 February (closing at 7 PM on 11 February).

  • Group C: Fans who haven't had COVID-19 or vaccination, or had COVID-19 before 1 October 2020
